Return Policy
Effective 9/1/09
Please read the following information carefully, and keep it in a safe place, to assist you in any replacements of products you may need. *You must fill out your warranty card, sign it, and mail it to Paul Mitchell Ohio within 10 days of receiving your Tool for the warranty to be valid! *
1. As soon as you receive your order, open it up, and check to make sure all items are included. (Check your Cash Sale or Invoice for a list of contents).
Missing Items:
*You will have 48 hours after receiving your order to report anything missing or damaged to Paul Mitchell Ohio Customer Service Department for replacement.
*Each package has been weighed and quality checked before it is shipped to insure nothing is missing. If you believe something is missing please double check! To ensure that we have accurate counts on our inventory, we cycle count the items in our warehouse daily.
2. After you have checked to see if you have all items in your order, check all of your Electrical items- Blow Dryer, Smoothing Iron and Curling Iron. Plug them in and make sure that they all work. (Lights go on, appliances heat up, dryers run…) Make sure to hit “Reset” buttons before assuming it does not work. If any of your appliances are defective out of the box, you will need to send them to Paul Mitchell Ohio along with your warranty card and a copy of your Cash Sale or Invoice.
3. Check to make sure that all items are functioning properly, and there has been no damage in shipping. (Look over all products to ensure that there are no defects or damages to the products.)
4. Defective or Damaged Items:
Replacements will only be made after your warranty card is received.
Electrical Items are under warranty for One Year.
Non-Electrical Tools are under warranty for 90 days.
Whenever you have a defective item, that fits the time frame above, and we have your warranty card on file… You should send your defective item to:

*Please make sure that your defectives are due to a manufacturer’s defect only! Replacements will not be made under warranty for the following: Misuse, Abuse, Neglect, Damage by Heat, Cold, or Water, Dropping Tools, Accidents, Lost Parts, Previous Repairs by Others, Melted Brushes and Combs from use with blow dryers or smoothing irons, Sitting/Standing on Tools, Dragging Tools on Floor, and Forcing of parts resulting in a break.
Once Paul Mitchell Ohio receives your defective item, we will determine if it is under warranty, and send you out your replacement, or send you back the tool at the address on your warranty card.
5. Scissor Exchanges:
If you have ordered, or received the wrong size or type… Please report these to Paul Mitchell Ohio immediately. Scissors that have been used may not be returned.
6. Responsibilities:
*The person in charge of receiving the order- will contact Paul Mitchell Ohio Customer Service Department for any missing items, exchanges, and any questions or concerns about your order.

- 30-day satisfaction guarantee
- All returns must have an invoice included with return within the date guidelines
- All credits will be issued upon receipt of items to our warehouse and will be refunded in the form of a product credit within 3 to 5 business days
- Damages must be reported within 48 hours of receiving shipment
AFTER 30 DAYS
- 20% restocking fee
- 30% restocking fee if priced or dirty
- Credit only issued on items that can be resold
- $10.00 Call Tag fee per box
- Returns after 90 days will not be accepted
